Description
Convivio Cafe is a women- and immigrant-owned, Guatemalan-inspired cafe at 4935 W 38th Ave in Denver. The name comes from the Guatemalan idea of a convivio, a get-together where everyone is welcome. The cafe serves farmer-roasted Guatemalan coffee and teas along with Central American-inspired food, and it describes itself as a bilingual space built around being good neighbors.
The drink menu includes a churro latte, a spicy chocolate-and-chile mocha called the Picosita, chai made in-house, café de olla, fruit licuados and rotating aguas frescas. The menu changes with the seasons and uses Colorado farm ingredients where possible, with vegetarian, dairy-free, vegan and gluten-free options. Catering, reservations, coffee flights and cafe rentals are available, and the website has links for ordering.
