Takoda Tavern

Takoda Tavern is a neighborhood bar and restaurant at 12365 Pine Bluffs Way in Parker, on the southeast corner of Parker Road and Hess Road. The name comes from a Sioux word the owners translate as "friend to everyone," and the tavern says it aims to treat every customer that way. The doors opened in 2009.

The bar pours a lineup of beers on tap, including Avery IPA, Guinness and Stella Artois along with rotating taps, plus house wine, specialty cocktails and spiked seltzers. A weekday happy hour offers appetizer and drink specials. Live music plays on the downstairs level and upper patio on weekends, and there are trivia nights, open mic nights and a weekly bike night in warmer months. To-go orders are taken by phone, and reservations or private party requests go through email.
