Description
Hogback Distillery is a micro distillery at 5311 Western Ave in Boulder, Colorado. Founder and distiller Graeme Wallace moved from Scotland to Colorado in 2016 to make Scotch-style whisky in the US, combining traditional Scotch methods with a modern American craft approach.
The distillery uses malt barley peated in Scotland along with Colorado spring water, and ages its whiskey mostly in once-used barrels. It also offers blended and finished whiskies, a Midnight Cask Club for personal casks, and a few house cocktail recipes. Visitors are welcome to learn how the whiskies are made, and takeout is available. The distillery's tasting room is located in Estes Park.
