La Rocca Rossa

La Rocca Rossa is an Italian-inspired steakhouse on Bear Creek Avenue in downtown Morrison, minutes from Red Rocks. The name means "the red rock," and the building's walls are made from the same local rock found around Red Rocks Amphitheater. Dinner is cooked over a wood-burning grill, blending flavors of Italy and Southern Europe with Colorado ingredients.

The menu includes handmade pastas, Colorado bison short ribs, wood-grilled chicken, grilled octopus and a Porterhouse Bistecca alla Fiorentina. Beef comes from Fitch Ranch on Colorado's Western slope. A bar program of cocktails, mocktails, spirits and draft beer rounds things out, and reservations and online ordering are available.
