Description
Ohana Island Kitchen is a veteran-owned Hawaiian restaurant at 2563 15th St, Suite 105, in Denver's LoHi area. It began as a takeout window across the street about ten years ago, and owner Louie Colburn, who grew up in Kaneohe, Hawaii, makes the food from scratch in the style of his island upbringing.
The menu is small and centers on poke, including a shoyu version with sweet onions and a spicy tuna version, along with Kalua pork, pork sliders, mac salad and bento-style plates. The poke is made fresh daily and is not held overnight, so it can run out. Ohana offers takeout, delivery and online ordering, plus outdoor seating.
