Bird Dog BBQ

Bird Dog BBQ is a barbecue restaurant at 4153 Centennial Blvd in Colorado Springs, serving what it calls Oklahoma Style BBQ. The meats are smoked over oak, which the restaurant says has a mild flavor that lets the taste of the meat come through. Sauces come on the side and are made from scratch in-house, including mild, hot and extra hot versions and a Wasabi-Q sauce. The restaurant describes its barbecue sauces as gluten-free.

Ordering is counter-style, so you can watch your food being prepared and plated. Brisket and pork are trimmed of nearly all fat, and extra fat is available on request at no charge. Catering is offered for corporate lunches, weddings, banquets and family gatherings, with online ordering available for pickup or delivery.
