Description
The Rock Inn Mountain Tavern is a bar and restaurant at 1675 CO-66 in Estes Park, near the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. The building dates to 1937, when it opened as a sandwich shop, and a dance hall was added in 1943. Today it serves hearty comfort food made with Angus beef, Colorado chicken, bison and elk, along with a full bar, local beers and wine.
Live music is a regular part of the evening, with local musicians performing most nights of the week. In warmer months there is a patio with a fire pit and mountain views, and dogs are welcome on the covered patio in summer. Tables are first come, first served with a waiting list rather than reservations, and takeout can be ordered online. Delivery is not offered.
