Description
Retreat Bakery Bar is a family-owned neighborhood bakery at 2601 S Lemay Ave in Fort Collins, inspired by French patisserie. Everything is made in-house from scratch in small batches, from cookies, brownies, scones and muffins to tartlets, entremets and cheesecakes. Chef Michael Owens took over ownership in 2024.
The menu also includes breakfast sandwiches, panini, biscuits with savory gravy, café lattes, loose-leaf tea, Italian soda, wine and craft beer. Gluten-free and vegan options are offered daily, though the small kitchen uses shared equipment. There is a dining area for eating in, items can be taken to go, and cakes and larger orders can be arranged in advance for pickup.
