Description
Axe and the Oak Whiskey House is the tasting room and whiskey bar for Axe and the Oak Distillery, one of the first whiskey distilleries in Colorado Springs. It sits inside the historic Ivywild School at 1604 S Cascade Ave, about a mile south of downtown, and pours craft whiskey cocktails alongside the distillery's own bourbon, rye, gin and vodka.
The Whiskey House has no TVs. Local musicians play live on weekends, and the space is set up for conversation over a pour. Takeout and catering are available, and a stage room and full buyout options can host private events. Free parking is available in front of the building and behind the school.
