CODA Brewing Co

CODA Brewing Co. is a craft brewery on South Golden Road in Golden, Colorado, led by founder Luke Smith, a former yeast microbiologist who designs each beer around its own water profile and yeast strain. The taproom pours West Coast and hazy IPAs, kolsch, pilsner, helles, sours and barrel-aged stouts, and small experimental batches are served in lab-style beakers.

Music is part of the concept, with beers paired to songs and live bands playing at the taproom. Well-behaved leashed dogs are welcome, with water bowls outside, and food trucks visit on a posted calendar. The brewery hosts private events and lists medals from the Great American Beer Festival, the Colorado State Fair and the World Beer Cup.
