Description
Windy Saddle Cafe is a coffee shop and bakeshop at 1110 Washington Ave in Golden, open since 2007. The menu covers breakfast, lunch, espresso drinks, smoothies and a daily lineup of house-baked pastries such as cinnamon rolls, scones, pies, quiche and muffins. Coffee is small-batch roasted by Kaladi Coffee in Denver, and the cafe also pours wine and beer. Vegan and gluten-free baked goods are made daily, though the kitchen is not dedicated gluten-free or vegan.
The cafe has a western-cabin feel, a patio where dogs are welcome, and a kids' area and menu. Takeout, small-scale catering and special bake-shop orders are available, and the space can be rented for private evening events.
