Description
Pig and Tiger is a modern Taiwanese restaurant at 1401 Pearl St in downtown Boulder. Co-chefs and co-owners Darren Chang and Travis Masar named it for their Chinese zodiac signs, and the menu draws on Darren's memories of Taiwanese home cooking and Travis's experience with Asian cuisines.
The kitchen presents traditional classics, modern favorites and new interpretations of Taiwanese flavors and techniques, using local Colorado products. Reservations, takeout and online ordering are available, and the website lists current food and beverage menus along with a separate takeout menu. The restaurant also sells jars of its house chili crisp.
