Frida Authentic Mexican Restaurant is a family-run spot at 1814 Grand Avenue in Glenwood Springs. Chef-owner Jose Luis Rico grew up in his parents' home restaurant in Purepero, Michoacan, and later opened El Pollo Rico in the Roaring Fork Valley before starting Frida.
The menu covers appetizers like guacamole, cheese dip, nachos, quesadillas and ceviche, plus a Del Mar section of coastal seafood entrees such as whole fried tilapia, shrimp dishes and a seafood parrillada.
