Wayne’s Smoke Shack

Wayne's Smoke Shack is a Texas-style barbecue spot at 406 Center Dr in Superior, Colorado. The owner, Wayne, grew up in Central Texas and began smoking meat in his backyard before moving to Colorado in 2009. The smokehouse opened in 2013 and runs like a meat market, with barbecue sold by the pound so you can order as much or as little of each meat as you like.

The kitchen smokes brisket, ribs and sausage slowly using its own spice rubs, and it also makes a few barbecue sauces for those who want them. Wayne's Smoke Shack describes its meats as moist enough that sauce isn't needed. It is a lunch-only operation and says it stays open until the meat sells out. Catering is available for parties and events, and there are sides, desserts and a market section on the menu.
