Description
Cuchara Yacht Club is a restaurant and bar at 30 Cuchara Avenue in La Veta, in the mountain village of Cuchara along the Highway of Legends and the San Isabel National Forest. It is run by Annalee and Russell Hickey with Scott Covington, who describe it as a spot for sunshine, the river, good food and company.
The drink menu covers wines by the glass and bottle, a short list of specialty cocktails such as a house margarita and an Aperol spritz, and a rotating selection of Colorado beers. The venue also hosts private events, from lunch yard parties to full restaurant buyouts for weddings, and has held holiday dinners. Call ahead or check the website for the food menu.
