Refuge Roasters is a small-batch coffee roaster at 910 Hotchkiss St in Lake City, Colorado, run by Andy and Joy, a couple who settled in the San Juan mountains in 2011. They roast single origin coffees from Guatemala, Ethiopia and Indonesia, along with an espresso blend and a decaf.
The roasters describe the business as a spot for calm and connection, and say they hope to open a shop one day to serve coffee by the cup. For now, beans can be ordered through the website, with a choice of size and grind.
