10th Mountain Whiskey and Spirits

10th Mountain Whiskey & Spirit Co. is a craft distillery with a tasting room at 227 Bridge St in Vail. The company makes small-batch bourbon, rye, single malt, vodka, brandy, moonshine and cordial, and takes its name and inspiration from the U.S. Army's 10th Mountain Division, which trained near Vail in the 1940s.

The Bridge Street tasting room is the place to sample the spirits. Pets are allowed and the space is ADA accessible. The tasting room does not serve food, but guests may bring their own; outside beverages are not permitted. Reservations are encouraged for distillery tours at its Gypsum location, though they are generally not needed for drinks. Catering is also available.
