Authentic American Tacos

Authentic American Tacos, which goes by DGT Tacos, is a taco shop at 120 W Laurel St in Fort Collins, a short walk from the Colorado State University campus. The menu centers on street tacos, burritos and power bowls, with fillings that include carne asada, slow-roasted pork, Cajun chicken, grilled fish and organic tofu. A rotating taco of the month, quesadilla chips, kale salad and house-made drinks like a hibiscus refresher round things out.

Vegan and vegetarian dishes are a big part of the lineup, and the shop serves a breakfast burrito as well. The story page traces DGT back to a gas station stand in Basalt, Colorado, before the restaurant opened in Fort Collins in 2013.
