Description
The Cruise Room is a cocktail bar inside The Oxford Hotel at 1600 17th St in Denver. It opened the day after Prohibition was repealed in 1933 and describes itself as Denver's longest-running bar. The room takes its Art Deco look and wine bottle-shaped layout from the RMS Queen Mary.
The bar is known for its martini and also serves small plates. Happy hour runs on weekdays and features a bartender's choice cocktail called the Captains Call. Quarterly burlesque shows are held through the year. The bar does not take reservations and welcomes walk-ins. Catering is available.
