Description
Panino's Restaurant is a family-owned Italian restaurant on South 8th Street in Colorado Springs. Its namesake Panino is a baked, rolled and sliced sandwich built from fresh vegetables, meats and cheeses. The menu also covers pizza, pasta dishes such as chicken or shrimp alfredo, manicotti and lasagna, shrimp and scallop scampi, and salads. The Frasca family opened the first Panino's in 1974, and the 8th Street location dates to 1982.
The restaurant offers dine-in, takeout, online ordering and catering, and has gluten-free options. A weekly happy hour is paired with a rotating schedule of daily dinner specials, including all-you-can-eat pizza and spaghetti nights and a Friday and Saturday prime rib dinner.
