Description
Temaki Den is a sushi restaurant at 3350 Brighton Blvd in Denver, in The Source Hotel Market Hall. It was created by chefs Toshi Kizaki and Kenta Kamo and focuses on temaki (cylindrical hand rolls wrapped in nori) and aburi, or flame-seared, sushi. The restaurant describes its approach as a modern take on the American sushi bar that still respects traditional Japanese culinary philosophy.
Guests can sit in the main dining room or at the sushi bar, both of which take reservations, or at Bar Ikki, a 25-seat cocktail bar serving the full menu on a walk-in basis. The restaurant also serves omakase, a chef-selected multi-course meal, and offers a large selection of Japanese whisky and cold sake, with whisky and sake flights available. A happy hour runs on weekday evenings. Gluten-free, pescatarian and vegetarian diets can generally be accommodated, and the restaurant welcomes children.
