Description
Sushi Den is a Japanese restaurant and sushi bar on South Pearl Street in Denver, open since Christmas 1984 and independently owned and operated. The kitchen is built around fresh fish flown in from a fish market in Fukuoka, on Japan's Kyushu Island, with a daily catch-of-the-day selection and Edomae-style sushi on the menu. The restaurant says it was founded by Toshi, a chef who had worked in Tokyo and Los Angeles.
The menu covers sushi, sashimi, rolls, a kitchen menu, lunch, and a list of sake, beer, wine and cocktails. A walk-in-only set course is served at the sushi counter at dinner. A private room hosts a chef's table with an omakase chef for special occasions. Dine-in, reservations, online ordering and takeout are available. Sushi Den shares the corner with its sister restaurants Izakaya Den and Ototo.
