Spangalang Brewery is a Black-owned, jazz-inspired microbrewery at 2736 Welton St #102 in Denver's Historic Five Points neighborhood. The name nods to the jazz cymbal rhythm and to the area's history as a major jazz center. The taproom focuses on fresh craft beer and also offers a full bar with cocktails, wine and spirits.
The kitchen serves smoked and barbecue-style food, including smoked chicken sandwiches, jerk chicken sliders, spare ribs, red beans and rice, collard greens and mac and cheese. Live music plays on Fridays and Sundays, with weekly trivia, a Sunday R&B brunch and a daily happy hour. Catering and taproom event hosting are available.
