Description
Gurkhas Restaurant is a family-run Nepali and Indian restaurant at 2347 Clover Basin Drive in Longmont, open since 2004. Founder Kalpana Gurung, who grew up in Nepal, named it for the Gurkha soldiers in her family and opened it in memory of her father. The kitchen focuses on curries and momo, the Nepali dumplings, alongside tandoori dishes, kabobs and vegetable plates such as baigun bharta and bhindi masala.
The restaurant says most dishes can be made vegan, vegetarian or dairy-free. Guests can dine in with reservations, order takeout or delivery online, or arrange catering by phone. The drink list includes lassi, chai, beer and wine.
