Description
DiRito's Italian Restaurant is a family-run spot at 231 Main St. in Cañon City, in a renovated former garage at the corner of 3rd and Main. The restaurant opened in 2001 and draws on a family history that includes the Joker Drive-In, which the owners say was the first place in town to sell pizza.
The menu covers pasta such as spaghetti, rigatoni, gnocchi, fettuccini Alfredo and ravioli, along with steaks, grilled chicken, calzones and pizzas. Meals come with homemade bread and roasted garlic, and the kitchen makes its own meatballs and sausage. A soup of the day and daily specials are also offered, and online ordering is available.
