Boonzaaijer’s Dutch Bakery

Boonzaaijer's Dutch Bakery is a family bakery at 610 E Fillmore St in Colorado Springs. Stephen Boonzaaijer opened it in March 1999, carrying on a baking tradition his family began in the Netherlands in 1896. The team bakes breads, cakes, pies, pastries and wedding cakes in-house each day.

Bread comes out of the oven around late morning and tends to sell out, so the bakery suggests calling or ordering ahead. Breakfast pastries and danishes are baked fresh daily and sold first come, first served, and whole cakes and pies can be special ordered for occasions.
