Northglenn Food Guide
Northglenn began in 1959 as a 280-acre model subdivision north of Denver, planned by Perl-Mack Co., and the city incorporated in 1969. Our directory, as of October 2026, lists 71 places to eat here, and 54 percent of them are independently owned. Mexican restaurants lead the categories with 17 listings, followed by bakery and dessert spots with 6, pizza with 5, and Italian, fast food, burgers, Chinese and general restaurants with 4 each.
The dish mentions in those listings point the same way. Tacos come up in 11 listings, breakfast burritos in 8, green chile in 7, pizza in 6 and tamales in 5, with birria, pho and coffee also appearing. Breakfast is the most common feature we track, at 14 listings. Delivery shows up in 17 listings. Only 3 listings note outdoor seating and 3 note a happy hour, so if you want a patio, check the listing first. Another 6 offer private dining or events.
Where the meals are clustered helps, too. Northglenn Marketplace, at 104th Avenue and I-25, replaced the old Northglenn Mall in 2000. Its dining anchors include Texas Roadhouse and IHOP, and since early 2024 the Prost Brewing biergarten and production brewery. Prost is a family-owned Colorado brewery founded in 2012 that focuses on German-style beer. Its biergarten at 351 W. 104th Ave. serves traditional German food, with long bench seating, lawn games and an outdoor stage. Huron Center, at 1000 W. 104th Ave., was redeveloped in 2018 and added an Arby's and a Save-A-Lot. Washington Center, at 11870 Washington St., mixes service businesses with casual restaurants, including a burger chain, a sub shop and a neighborhood bar.
Some of the best eating happens outdoors and on a calendar. Our database counts no food trucks or food halls among its listings, so the trucks come to you at events. The city's free Food Truck Carnival, which began in 2016, runs three days each May at E.B. Rains Jr. Memorial Park, with more than 20 trucks each day and a Friday celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander food. The park, a 28-acre space around Webster Lake, also hosts the July 4th Family Festival. On select Thursday evenings from June through August, free concerts on the Festival Lawn bring rotating trucks; the 2026 lineup included ramen, Mexican food, pies and frozen treats. Hours are posted on just 17 of our 71 listings, so call ahead before you go.
