1. Cookies and similar technology
The site may use cookies, pixels, tags and local storage to support accounts, website security, visitor preferences, analytics and advertising, depending on its actual configuration.
2. Categories
Necessary technologies operate login, security and essential functionality. Functional technologies remember preferences on this site; they do not gate embedded videos. Optional analytics may measure browsing and listing interactions. Advertising technologies, where used, can measure campaigns or support personalization.
3. Choices
Where required by law, visitors must be given appropriate choices before optional technologies are enabled. Browser settings can restrict or delete some cookies. Available cookie or Privacy Choices controls allow changes when implemented on the site.
4. Privacy and California rights
California and other eligible residents may opt out of qualifying sales or sharing and targeted advertising. Contact policies@8978tech.com to exercise available rights. Recognized universal opt-out signals, such as Global Privacy Control, must be honored where required by law. A written policy does not itself implement those technical controls.
5. Email and SMS
Service, account and payment communications may be sent as needed. Marketing communications require applicable authorization and must provide legally required opt-out methods. Submitting a review, reservation inquiry or catering request does not automatically authorize unrelated marketing.
6. Reservations and catering
Inquiry information may be provided to the restaurant or service provider to respond to that request. Separate providers may apply their own notices and consent terms.
7. Third-party platforms
Restaurant links, ordering, reservations, social platforms and payment services may have independent privacy and cookie practices.
8. Consent records and updates
Where appropriate and lawfully permitted, we may record choices, timestamps and versions. We may update this policy and provide further notice as required.
9. Embedded YouTube and Vimeo videos
Videos embedded from YouTube or Vimeo load when the page opens, without a consent-based “Play video” placeholder. Loading these embeds connects your browser to YouTube or Vimeo, which may collect or process device, browser, network and usage information, including through their own cookies or similar technologies, according to their respective privacy policies. These external video connections are not controlled by the Functional preference described below.
10. Cookie settings and Your Privacy Choices
The “Cookie settings” and “Your Privacy Choices” links in the footer reopen the consent settings panel. The panel offers Reject all, Accept all, and Customize. Necessary features are always enabled. Functional is used only to remember your preferences on this site; Analytics is for optional measurement, and Advertising is for advertising-related technologies if activated. Optional categories are not preselected. These controls do not prevent the immediate loading of embedded YouTube and Vimeo videos.
11. Remembering preferences
When the consent system is active, it remembers your choices for up to 12 months. It may ask you to choose again if the applicable policy or consent version changes. Clearing browser storage or changing devices may require a new choice.
12. Consent records and deletion
To document consent selections, the system records the time, applicable policy version, selected categories, and a consent ID. These records do not contain names, email addresses, raw IP addresses or raw browser information. IP address and browser information are stored only as scrambled, non-reversible codes.
Consent records are retained for 24 months after each choice and then automatically deleted through a daily cleanup process. After making a consent choice, you can find your consent ID in Cookie settings. To request deletion of the associated consent records, email your consent ID to policies@8978tech.com. The consent ID is needed to locate the record because the scrambled IP and browser codes cannot be reversed to identify you. Clearing browser cookies removes the saved choice from your device but does not delete the server-side consent record.
13. Current configuration
The consent banner and settings panel are active for visitors. Necessary features support core site operation, and Functional remembers site preferences only. YouTube and Vimeo videos load automatically. Google Analytics is not currently active through MonsterInsights, and advertising tracking is not currently in use.
