Paleteria La Loteria is a family-run ice cream and Mexican popsicle shop on West 104th Avenue in Northglenn. The owners moved to Colorado from northern Mexico 15 years ago and say they set out to bring the flavors they missed, from spicy chamoy to sweet dulce de leche.
The menu goes well beyond scoops, with aguas frescas and fruit smoothies made in house, plus savory snacks like elote in a cup, loaded chips and shrimp cocktail. Loteria and Jenga are available to play while you eat. Call ahead or check the website for the menu.
