Description
Sheabeens Irish Pub is a neighborhood Irish pub at 2300 S Chambers Rd in Aurora, in the Country Square shopping center at Iliff Avenue and Chambers Road. It opened in 1989 and describes itself as the oldest Irish pub in the Denver metro area. A large bar and tables face a stage, and over 20 HD TVs and a projection screen show NFL and MLB games.
The small kitchen behind the bar makes sandwiches, appetizers and pizzas. Twelve beers are on tap, including Guinness, Harp and Smithwicks. Live music plays on weekends, with Irish, country, classic rock and R&B acts, and Thursday nights feature an open stage. A heated back porch patio is available for smokers, and free WiFi is offered.
