Chuy’s

Chuy's is a Tex-Mex brand that opened its first restaurant in Austin, Texas, in 1982. The cooking draws on New Mexico, Rio Grande Valley and South Texas flavors, with made-from-scratch sauces, handmade tortillas, New Mexican green chiles and fresh-squeezed lime juice. Chips and salsa come free, and the creamy jalapeño is a signature extra. The dining rooms lean fun and colorful, with hand-carved wooden fish, hanging hubcaps and palm trees.

This location is at 6595 W 104th Ave in Westminster. The menu includes vegetarian options such as veggie enchiladas and bean and cheese burritos, plus items without gluten ingredients, though they are prepared where gluten is present. Happy hour runs Monday through Friday, and takeout, delivery and catering are available. Reservations are not taken, but there is an online waitlist for parties of six or fewer.
