Description
The Ice Cream Mill is a mom-and-pop ice cream shop at 5620 E Woodmen Rd in Colorado Springs, opened by Rick and Cindi Hinds in 2024. The kitchen churns small batches of hard-scoop ice cream in view of the counter, starting from milk, cream, eggs, sugar and pure vanilla, with no preservatives. Cones are made fresh by hand, and the shop does not serve soft serve or milkshakes.
The menu runs to 25 or more flavors on hand at a time, including dairy-free and vegan choices, along with themed sundaes, pie a la mode, brownies, cookies and a Sasparilla Float. The shop also caters events with a custom delivery truck and offers wholesale ice cream to Southern Colorado businesses. Call ahead to check which flavors are available.
