Ancestors Distilling is a small-batch distillery at 1708 E Lincoln Ave in Fort Collins, Colorado. Its spirits are distilled and bottled in town, and the lineup covers vodka, gin, liqueur, schnapps, whiskey and absinthe.
The distillery was founded by Wes Panther, who traces his family's alcohol roots to Kentucky brewers, Brown-Forman employees and moonshine runners. After distilling in Florida and South Carolina and working at Mobb Mountain Distillers, he opened Ancestors in Fort Collins. Its Silver Jack Vodka is made from corn, is gluten-free, and is bottled at 80 proof. Call ahead or check the website for visiting details.
