Abo’s Pizza

Abo's Pizza is a New York-style pizzeria that opened its first shop in Boulder in 1977 and now has nine locations along the Colorado Front Range. The pies are hand-tossed, made with dough prepared fresh each day, topped with a sauce based on a Rocky Graziano family recipe and 100% skim mozzarella, and baked on bricks in deck ovens rather than conveyor ovens. Slices are cut from 20-inch pies, and whole pizzas come in 12-, 16- and 18-inch sizes, with gluten-free crust offered in the two smaller sizes.

This location is at 1355 E South Boulder Rd in Louisville. Online ordering is available, along with late-night service and catering. For larger events the company says it brings its deck ovens on-site to cook for guests. Anyone with celiac disease or a severe gluten sensitivity should contact the location before ordering, since the kitchens are not dedicated gluten-free spaces.
