Description
Nuggs Ice Cream is a family-owned ice cream and dessert shop on East Colfax Avenue in Denver. It was started in 2014 by brothers Chris and Nick O'Sullivan, who had earlier opened Brothers BBQ in 1998. The shop makes its ice cream by hand and says it relies on locally sourced, all-natural ingredients, with flavors that range from classic to seasonal.
Beyond scoops, the menu includes ice cream sandwiches and other desserts, plus ready-to-go and custom ice cream cakes. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options are available, and takeout and online ordering are offered. Nuggs also caters ice cream socials for groups of 20 or more, with an ice cream truck or table service for larger events.
