Blue Truck Ice Cream is a family and woman-owned ice cream truck serving the Salida and Poncha Springs area of Colorado from a restored 1949 Dodge 'B' Series truck. The truck has been in the family since 1949 and began making ice cream rounds in 2019.
The menu includes Bomb Pops, fudge bars, ice cream sandwiches, soft-serve twist cones, king size cones, and frozen fruit and lime bars. Each item is individually wrapped, with vegan, vegetarian and allergy-friendly options, though several treats contain nuts. The truck runs on a summer schedule from May through September and appears at the Boys & Girls Club, special events, birthday parties and local wedding venues.
