Description
Mountain Oven is an organic bakery and millhouse that began in Crested Butte in 2010. It later moved its bakery to Paonia, Colorado, where it bakes sourdough bread and pastries and stone-grinds flour from Colorado-grown grain. The bakery says it no longer runs a retail shop and sells through weekly events, farmers markets and wholesale.
The Elk Avenue address in Crested Butte reflects the bakery's roots, but pickups for online orders happen at 395 Clark Ave in Paonia. Catering is available for weddings and private events, with pie, pastry, bread and simple brunch spreads. Online ordering is offered for pickup.
