Description
The Taco Stop is a family-owned Mexican restaurant and bar at 2601 S Lemay Ave in Fort Collins. Cesar Lopez and Berenice Longoria started it in 2012 as a downtown taco cart, then moved to a trailer and a food truck before opening the restaurant in 2020. Lopez grew up in Mexico City and trained in culinary school, and the menu centers on street-style tacos, with quesadillas also part of its early repertoire.
The restaurant pours margaritas and draft beer, runs a weekday happy hour and offers daily drink and food specials. It describes its space as family friendly. Online ordering, group reservations and catering are available, including a fajita bar and taco bar for events of up to 50 guests.
