Description
The Friar's Fork is an Italian and Mediterranean restaurant at 607 Fourth St in Alamosa, Colorado. Husband and wife Denise Vigil and Nealson Vialpando opened it in 2022 inside the footprint of the former St. Thomas Episcopal Church. The menu leans on pasta and hearty entrees such as lasagna, chicken Marsala, lamb osso bucco, duck leg confit and fettuccine Alfredo, with crab cakes, arancini and a charcuterie board among the appetizers. Gluten-free ravioli is an option, and tiramisu and cannoli round out dessert.
Next door, the Sanctuary is a relaxed cocktail lounge and coffee house serving craft cocktails, bourbon and scotch, and espresso drinks. Dine-in, takeout and online ordering are available, and reservations are accepted online or by phone.
