Room for Friends … a wine bar!

Room for Friends is a wine bar at 846 Santa Fe Drive in Denver's Art District on Santa Fe. The owners, Michael and Heather, started out hosting weekly dinner parties and built the bar around the same idea: good wine, shared food and plenty of conversation. Local artists show and sell their work on the walls, and a monthly Art & Wine Flight pairs wine with the season's art.

The wine list covers sparkling, white, rosé, orange and red wines, plus flights and a few dessert pours. The food menu is built around snacks and shareable plates, from a charcuterie board and soft pretzel sticks to bruschetta, kielbasa with mashed potatoes and chicken salad sliders. The bar also has a patio, regular Tuesday events, weekday happy hour and Monday karaoke.
