Bruce’s Bar and Restaurant

Bruce's Bar and Restaurant is an American bar and restaurant at 123 1st Street in Severance, Colorado. The bar dates to 1957, when Bruce Ruth bought the Severance Recreation Hall, and it became known for serving Rocky Mountain Oysters starting in 1959. The restaurant now sells beef and buffalo oysters, including oysters to go, and says it offers all-you-can-eat oysters on Sundays.

The menu also covers wings, burgers made with beef, buffalo, yak or elk, steak dinners, sandwiches, salads and green or red chili. Inside are a pool table, pinball and arcade machines, and a bar that hosts live music. Online ordering is available, reservations are accepted, and the space can be booked for groups and parties.
