Description
Rocky Mountain Thai Kitchen is a Thai restaurant at 422 Harrison Ave in Leadville, run by Phean Deejun and Somneuk Mongkol, a couple born in Thailand. They worked in restaurants in California and Colorado and ran a food truck before opening this dining room in February 2025.
The menu covers coconut milk curries, fresh basil stir-fries, pad thai, noodle dishes and soups, made with ingredients the owners describe as authentic, some brought in from Denver. The dining room mixes photos of Thailand with images of Leadville's history. Vegetarian and vegan options are available, and the kitchen offers dine-in, takeout and online ordering. Reservations are accepted and recommended on weekends, and the restaurant hosts private and group events.
