Sweet Basil

Sweet Basil is a modern American restaurant in Vail Village, at 193 E Gore Creek Dr, open since 1977 and listed in the Michelin Guide. The kitchen works with seasonal ingredients and a range of influences, and the menu runs from whipped feta, crudo and tostaditas to short rib ramen, lobster risotto and grilled lamb T-bones, with lunch, après, dinner and dessert menus.

There is also a cocktail list, an extensive wine list, a kids' menu for children 12 and under, and a cozy dining room for private events. Catering is available, and reservations are accepted and strongly encouraged. Vail Village is pedestrian-only, so plan on parking in the public garage and walking over.
