Tamale Kitchen makes hand-made tamales from an old family recipe, in red, spicy green chile or veggie versions, filled with seasoned meat, wrapped in corn masa and steamed. The family began selling tamales door to door in 1980 and opened its first Tamale Kitchen in Lakewood in 1981. Today the brand has eight locations across the Denver Metro area.
