Description
Savina's Mexican Kitchen is a family-run Mexican restaurant at 1801 Broadway in downtown Denver, across from the Brown Palace Hotel. It carries on recipes from Savina Mendoza, known as Grandma, who began cooking in Denver in 1973. The dining room has exposed brick walls, wooden beams and stained-glass windows.
The menu centers on Tex-Mex and traditional dishes such as mini chile rellenos, chicken flautas, enchiladas smothered in green or red chili, fajitas and tacos. Tortillas are made in view of guests, and the bar pours barrel-aged tequila. Breakfast, happy hour and catering are available, along with private event space for gatherings. Complimentary valet parking begins at 5pm daily.
