Description
Abejas is a New American restaurant at 807 13th Street in Golden, Colorado. The kitchen focuses on seasonal dishes built around regional produce, sustainably sourced seafood and locally raised meats. It serves dinner and weekend brunch, and the menu changes with the seasons.
The restaurant is housed in a historic former Piggly Wiggly, with reclaimed barn wood and vintage doors from a local ranch. It was started by two Golden-rooted friends, Brandon Bortles and Barry Dobesh, who named it for the hardworking bee. Reservations are accepted, and a patio is open for dining from May through November, with same-day patio reservations taken by phone.
