Description
Backcountry Gourmet is a food truck company in Durango, Colorado, with a truck at 1101 Main Ave. Chef Beau Lindborg describes his cooking as gourmet sliders made with fresh, local ingredients. Sliders on the menu include a BBQ bacon cheeseburger with local Wagyu beef, a filet mignon slider, a crab cake slider and a fried zucchini slider. Tacos, salads, hand-cut fries and tomato basil bisque round out the offerings.
Breakfast burritos with pork belly, bacon or spinach are served seven days a week at the 11th Street location. Backcountry Gourmet also runs at The Nugget Bar and Avalanche Bowl Company, and its Nugget Bar taco special runs on summer Tuesdays. Catering and online ordering are available. As a food truck, locations can change, so check the website before heading out.
