Description

Erawan Thai Cafe is a Thai and Chinese restaurant at 3919 E 8th Ave in Denver. Art Suthithanin and his wife Linda opened it in January 1979, and the cafe's own site calls it Denver's oldest Thai restaurant. Art cooks from family recipes passed down through his relatives, using natural herbs and spices such as kaffir lime leaves and whole Thai ginger. The dining room was remodeled in 2006.

Guests can dine in, order takeout, or have food delivered, and reservations are accepted by phone. Most entrees can be prepared as a vegetarian dish. The cafe has earned a Westword Reader's Choice award for Best Thai Restaurant and appears in the book The Gyros Journey: Affordable Ethnic Eateries along the Front Range.
