Very Nice Brewing Company is a small-batch craft brewery with a Gilpin County tap room at 180 Jankowski Drive in Black Hawk. The brewery began in Nederland in 2012 and describes its tap rooms as family-friendly and pub-like. The Black Hawk tap room pours a rotating lineup that includes pale ales, IPAs, a brown ale, a Belgian-style strong ale, a saison and a stout. Many of the beers are brewed gluten-reduced.
The tap room welcomes leashed, well-behaved dogs and hosts live music, trivia nights and open mic evenings. Private events can be arranged by asking about tap room rental, and a reservation link is available.
