Description
The Root Kava Co. is a kava bar at 1641 28th St. in Boulder, Colorado. It opened in 2018 and describes itself as the city's first traditional kava bar, serving noble kava, ethnobotanical teas and tonics, with some local ingredients. The founders say their kava comes from growers in the South Pacific.
The space doubles as a community gathering spot, with music acts, art shows, game nights and a recurring Super Smash Bros tournament on the calendar. Catering is available, and the website has a menu and event listings.
